Hot Décor Trends for 2023

Every year new and fresh decor ideas begin to appear. We here at overstockart.com are happy to help you anticipate some of the hot trends that are coming in this year. We expect that people are going to be moving towards making bolder statements in their spaces, whether it be with the addition of luxury pieces or the introduction of brighter colors and the use of art déco. These three new trends could update any home in the following year.

Luxury Living

This year the trends are moving away from the subtle and natural accents and toward more lavish decor pieces. This includes metallics in silver and gold, as well as plush fabrics and leather. It doesn’t have to be about gaudy decorations, but can be sleek and modern with more expensive looking materials. You shouldn’t be afraid to show off the good life.

Art Déco

This art style that was created in the early part of the 21st century is enjoying a comeback and Art Déco is known for its use of geometric forms and bright colors. It can be used for both exterior and interior design and is often associated with glamour and progress. Embrace these ideas and display them for your friends and family.

Bold Colors

In previous years, natural and earthy tones were popular but this year the bright bold hues are taking focus. Lead by Pantone’s color of the year, Viva Magenta, other colors in vivid tones are going to be emerging. Vibrant red, bold blues, and deep greens are going to be seen everywhere and will pair beautifully with gold and silver accents. Jewel tones will be the most sought after and the right tones make wonderful statement pieces.

As you can see, these three new trends are meant to blend together, creating a beautiful space for your home or office. They all are meant to convey a sense of extravagance and comfort. Finding the perfect art piece that captures all three elements, would not be hard to find. We do recommend looking in our Art déco Gallery first for inspiration. We know you will find just what you are looking for to give your space a new updated look.
