\"Artist's<\/a>overstockArt.com released today its Father\u2019s Day Top 5 list. The list names this year\u2019s most popular oil paintings for dads. Topping the chart is Vincent van Gogh\u2019s masterpiece \u201cStarry Night.\u201d Oil paintings by William Bradford, Wassily Kandinsky and Pablo Picasso also made the list.<\/p>\n

overstockArt.com used visitor interactions on their website to measure the site usage of male adults over the age of 35. Recording more than 5,000,000 sessions revealed that \u201cStarry Night,\u201d was the most sought after painting clicked by male adults 37 percent of each session. Second, was \u201cCaf\u00e9 Terrace at Night\u201d which garnered 23 percent of the clicks.<\/p>\n

The oil paintings that made the \u201cDad\u2019s Favorites: Top Five Oil Paintings for Father\u2019s Day\u201d list are:<\/p>\n

  2. \u201cCaf\u00e9 Terrace at Night,\u201d Vincent van Gogh<\/a> \u2013 Van Gogh\u2019s famous painting of the small coffee shop in Arles has caused it to become one of Southern France\u2019s most sought after attractions.<\/li>\n
  3. \u201cThe Old Guitarist, 1903,\u201d Pablo Picasso<\/a> \u2013 This sorrowful portrait of an old man playing his guitar is one of the famous paintings Picasso created during his Blue Period (1901-1904).<\/li>\n
  4. \u201cA Sunset Calm in the Bay of Fundy,\u201d William Bradford<\/a> \u2013 This painting, created by Bradford in 1860, depicts full-sailed ships heading out to sea with the brightly peaked sun on its horizon.<\/li>\n
  5. \u201cFarbstudie Quadrate (Color Study of Squares),\u201d Wassily Kandinsky<\/a> – Kandinsky\u2019s tour de force is one of overstockArt.com\u2019s bestselling paintings, bursting with bright colors and a contemporary design.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
