That's great, if from this moment forward, everyone will receive the painting as pictured. After getting over the initial shock of receiving the wrong colors, I'm happy with my purchase and don't want to send it back. The problem is apparently not with my computer monitor, because it has no difficulty showing the painting I received, or images of the original Monet, which every potential buyer can research on their own. I'm attaching a photo of the painting I received, which is lovely in all it's orange flower and brown rooftop glory (those colors are not due to a camera defect in capturing the "true" image), hanging in a bedroom at my mother's house.

This is an update to my previous negative review. As long as you receive what you're expecting, whether the one pictured by OverstockArt with reddish flowers and rooftops, or the one I received with orange and brown tones, then it's a good deal. Mine is not hanging in my den, where I planned, but it looks great in the bedroom at my mother's house. The painting I received looks more like this one: [@]Perhaps this is actually closer to the original Monet. If this is the painting that arrives, and you're not surprised, and have a good location for it, then it's an enjoyable piece.

colors not as pictured

I've never seen the original "Field of Poppies, Giverny", but the copy I received is quite different from the one pictured on this site, mainly with regard to colors. The rooftops and flowers are supposed to have a somewhat reddish tint, which is all the more vibrant when contrasted with the white houses - the color jumps out at you. Unfortunately, the piece that arrived has dull brown rooftops, dull off-white houses, and dull orange flowers in the field. Actually, it looks more like an autumn scene with leaves on the ground. Due to an expectation of some similarity in colors, this was purchased as a companion for a print of Monet's "Poppy Field in Argenteuil" that I already had, but it just won't work for that. If they had presented an internet picture of how this one really looks, I would've made a different selection for that location in my house. Thus, I'm disappointed, even given the sale price, yet not sure it's worth trying to send back. My mother says it's a decent enough painting that she's willing to use it in a bedroom at her house, though she does agree it's nothing like the advertised picture. On the positive side, [...] we are very happy with our other order, "Blutentore in Giverny", which was much closer to the photo.
