Artist Become Announces its Top 10 Contemporary Artists of 2015
Online gallery and community Artist Become has released its Top 10 Contemporary Artists List for 2015. Argentinian expressionist Helena Wierzbicki nabs first place this year with “Doorway to the Heart”. Artist Become is an online artist community that showcases original art of both established and emerging artists around the world.
“We are continuing our massive growth on Artist Become,” said David Sasson, CEO of overstockArt.com, the online art gallery that owns and manages Artist Become. “We celebrated our fourth year in existence and substantially grew our number of member artists and original works of art on display. In addition, Artist Become artists have been gaining more and more popularity.”
Wierzbicki is but one of thousands of artists displaying and selling their work through Artist Become’s community platform. With over 48,500 original pieces on display on Artist Become, there was a truly vast collection up for consideration for inclusion in the Top 10 list.
Helena Wierzbicki, Adrian Borda, Pol Ledent, and previous #1 Justyna Kopania have held spots in the Top 10 for three straight years. Lisa Carney, Susan Fischer, and Alex Bertaina return for their second consecutive years. New to the list are Alexey Rubanov, Elwira Pioro, and Atelier De Jiel. The Top 10 contemporary artists hail from Poland, Belgium, Canada, Romania, Argentina, France, The United States, Ukraine and Italy.
