The enduring appeal of Renoir, Van Gogh, and Monet persists, each claiming two spots in the coveted top ten. Notably, Harry Roseland is gaining traction, while Gustav Klimt maintains a robust presence on the list. Our collection spans a diverse array of landscapes, still-life, and portraits, representing various art movements.

1. Pierre-Auguste Renoir- Discarded Roses

Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who painted Discarded Roses, worked tirelessly at his Impressionist artwork. In his later years he turned from his lively scenes of social life to more introspective subjects. Renoir’s beautiful depiction of the roses is something truly stunning to behold.

2. Vincent Van Gogh-Starry Night

Starry Night is one of the most famous paintings by Vincent Van Gogh. Known as a prolific Post-Impressionist, Van Gogh produced many paintings that were heavily biographical and his restless spirit and depressive mental state inspired his artistic work.

3. Claude Monet-Garden Path at Giverny

A beautiful masterpiece, Claude Monet’s Garden Path at Giverny is complex in detail and composition. Lush foliage and many shades of color saturate the canvas while the viewer’s eyes are enraptured by the intensity of the scene.

4. Claude Monet-Corner of the Garden at Montgeron

Claude Monet spent many days in his gardens perfecting his depictions of flowers and natural features and it’s clear that by the time he painted Corner of the Garden at Montgeron he had achieved mastery of his skills in French Impressionism.

5. Vincent Van Gogh-Cafe Terrace at Night

Vincent Van Gogh’s Cafe Terrace at Night was created in Arles, France at a local coffee house. It is the first painting in which Van Gogh started using backgrounds filled with stars in his work and pre-dates Starry Night.

To the Highest Bidder by Henry Roseland is a rare work of this particular painter. Roseland’s paintings typically depicted the life of struggling African Americans after the Civil War but this piece though features a somber look pre-civil war, of a woman and daughter at a slave auction. The eyes of the woman capture a multitude of emotions.

8. Pierre-Auguste Renoir-Grande Vase Di Fiori

One of Pierre-Auguste’s most striking still life paintings is Grande Vase Di Fiori. Using Impressionist techniques, which he was able to focus in on a single subject while still creating the sense of a moment captured in time.
